Vapaaklubi Live – ”Gospel of lies” with author Promise Backlund

In our first ever English Vapaaklubi Live, we are proud to welcome Promise Backlund as our guest. She has become known as @eve_wasframed in social media, like Youtube and Instagram and has been openly talking about her past in an evangelical christian community in the United States. Her book ”Gospel of lies” is just out and we will be discussing the book and all things irreligious.

Promise  is a former Evangelical Christian who now identifies as agnostic atheist after leaving her faith in 2017. She has developed a large, devoted following since separating from her evangelical Christian family and the Christian Charismatic Church. She is now a major ex-evangelical influencer, with a vibrant social media following. She is also a featured host for The Line, a popular skeptic-based YouTube network and podcast.

Doors open at the club at 17.30 and the stream starts at 18.30 on our YouTube channel. After the stream, the evening continues with open discussion.
